EASY Genesis Ceramic Brush

The ergonomically shaped handle made of light metal enables the dental technician in the ceramic department to work fatigue-free in the dental laboratory. The chrome-plated ferrule protects the brush hairs from corrosion. The metal balls incorporated in the ferrule form a perfect brush tip every time you knock it out, which is particularly suitable for applying stains and opaque materials for dental crowns and bridges. In the Kolinsky series we exclusively use sable hair from the male tail of the great Siberian fire weasel (Mustela sibirica). These extremely high-quality hairs guarantee a very high degree of resilience, elasticity and longevity, which reduces your costs.
During layering in the ceramic department, the ceramic mass is pulled up into the ferrule by moisture (capillary action) between the hairs. At some point there is so much ceramic material in the ferrule that it pushes the hairs apart, so that ceramists can no longer form a perfect tip. Since the brushes in the dental laboratory are usually stored lying down or with the brush tip pointing upwards, the ceramic material cannot flow out from the ferrule! The Genesis brush basically works like a fountain pen from school. You can remove the light metal handle and use it as a protective cap for the brush hairs (multifunctional cap). To allow the water and the ceramic powder to run out of the ferrule, pull off the light metal handle, put it over the brush hairs and place it in a cup after work with the protective cap down.
